Why New Years Resolutions often don’t work – don’t miss this secret preliminary step for a successful change

I’m coming off from a phone call with my youngest son Flo, he turned 20 a couple of days ago. I’m so impressed and amazed how wise our kids are…this gives me so much hope.

We shared a bit what they did on the New Years eve since he is now back in Germany  and I asked him, if he had a New Year resolution.

He said: “I don’t do this. This set me up for failure. Did you know that 90% of the New Years resolution fail in the first month for a fitness program or the like?” He heard this in the radio in the morning.

Then he added.” If they don’t had the motivation before they will not have the motivation now.”

Isn’t that the truth.

I went online and searched for the most common reason why people don’t continue what they decided to do.
